• There is an interest meeting for forming One Tree Hill Rotaract, next Monday 21 November. Be good if some of us could go and show them what Rotaractors are like! Let Eddie know if you're interested eddielyons@gmail.com

• Ashleigh has contacted the City Mission and they are in most need of dried pasta, pasta sauces, rice, tinned fish, baked beans, sugar, and flour, as well as presents for teenage boys and girls at their Christmas dinner.

Key dates:

• Bring a friend to the next GM on Monday 14 November at the Pupuke Golf Club. Kylie is organising a Trivial Pursuit night, so will be an ideal time to introduce your friends to our club! If possible please get in touch with Julie with names and email addresses of anyone you would like to bring.

• A reminder to bring donations for the City Mission to the upcoming meetings- cans of food, clean clothing and blankets, and Christmas presents for the kids.

• Then on Sunday 20 November we have the Rangitoto Bach Restoration at Islington Bay. We will be meeting at 9.15 am, on Devonport Wharf, returning 3.30 pm. It'll be a great time, there will be a shared lunch- bring your togs for a swim. Contact Ashleigh A.P.ROBERTSON@xtra.co.nz if you would like to participate.

• We may be moving to a new venue for the following GM on Monday 28 November! Details to come. The guest speaker for the evening will be Ron King, the World Community Services Committee Chair for District 9910.

• Stacey Enright, the Social Director of the University of Auckland Rotaract Club has invited us to their end of year BBQ/party. There will be free food, BYO drinks. RSVP to Teresa downinthecheapseats@gmail.com

• It's nearly Christmas! To celebrate we will be having our Christmas Function on Monday 12 December, 6pm at Kylie's- 32 Marywill Cres Takapuna, off Sunnybrae Rd. Look for the silver letterbox. BBQ, bring your togs and a $5 present.

• 14 December- Waitakere City Rotary has invited us to their Christmas Function at Waitakere Trust Stadium, 65-67 Central Park Drive, Henderson, 6.30pm for a 7pm start. $15 for Rotaractors and partners. Email Bob bob_suebenzie@clear.net.nz to RSVP.
